Tony Isbell is the CEO of RealtyBid.com. He has been involved with the real estate auction business on a national basis for more than 20 years. He has worked in various capacities in the auction business throughout his career, including in national positions such as managing director of government operations and national sales director for one of the country's largest national auction firms.
In 1999, Isbell and his partners established Accelerated Marketing Services, Inc. (AMS), a traditional real estate auction firm. In its first nine months of operation, AMS sold more than 2,500 homes for a sales volume of approximately $50 million, ranking AMS as one of the top five largest auction firms in the United States.
In 2001, Isbell and his partners created RealtyBid.com as a medium to combine the effectiveness of real estate auctions with the growing efficiency, acceptance and omnipresence of the Internet.
Isbell has personally been responsible for the sale of more than $1 billion worth of properties throughout the United States, including luxury homes, commercial assets, large land tracts, golf course properties and thousands of residential investment properties. He is a graduate of Jacksonville State University.
Jenny Atchley is president of RealtyBid and has been with the company since its founding in 1999. Before taking over as president, Atchley served RealtyBid for many years as operations manager.
Atchley says that she’s had the great fortune of working with stellar leadership and support staff during her time at RealtyBid and that, together, they have developed the perfect balance of top notch technology for real estate acquisition and disposition and A+ customer service. Atchley has been involved with the national real estate auction business for more than 20 years. She has been a leader within the company since its inception, has been the liaison between the company and some of the largest institutional clients in the country, and works to set the tone and direction of the company.
Misty Pigg is RealtyBid's operations manager and is responsible for much of the day-to-day management of real estate-related activities at RealtyBid.com. She oversees all departments of RealtyBid.com, including the Client Relations Group (Customer Service, Post Auction and Contracts) and the Closing Division.
The Client Relations Group is charged with satisfying clients from the time RealtyBid.com gets a property assignment until the property is sold. Once the property is sold, a closing representative is assigned to track the property through to the closing.
Pigg has been with RealtyBid since 2005 and comes from a strong management and leadership background. Staff training and development is a focus and specialty of hers. She emphasized that strategic organization, precision, and efficiency are keys to the success of RealtyBid. Pigg holds both a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Jacksonville State University.
RealtyBid.com Marketing Director Daphne Shannon joined the RealtyBid.com team in 2006 with the goal of enlightening and educating the general public and specific target markets about the innovations and benefits of RealtyBid.com through media exposure and directed communication.
Shannon has spent her more than 20 year career in the field of communication in the sectors of public relations, marketing and publishing, including a five-year stint as director of public relations and advertising for a 400-bed, award-winning, community-owned hospital.
She spent the almost eight years prior to joining RealtyBid.com exploring the inner workings of the resort real estate industry as managing editor of Condo Owner magazine and as manager of public affairs for Covey Communications Corp., the publishing entity responsible for Condo Owner.
Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in public relations and advertising from the University of Alabama.
